EMS Communication Demands Are Rising: RF Microwave Components Move Toward High Frequency and High Reliability
With the rapid development of the low-altitude economy, satellite internet, 5G/6G communications, and radar detection systems, EMS (Electromagnetic Spectrum) communication is becoming a key field supporting modern information infrastructure. From satellite payloads to ground stations, from UAV data links to test and measurement equipment, RF microwave passive components serve as core units for signal transmission, and their performance directly determines the reliability and efficiency of the entire system.
In recent years, the industry has imposed higher requirements on RF microwave components: higher frequencies (extending from X-band to Ka, Q, V, and even W-band), lower insertion loss, higher power handling, and smaller size and weight. Meanwhile, supply chain diversification and regional manufacturing have become key concerns for system integrators worldwide. The supply landscape for high-end waveguide-to-coaxial adapters, waveguide matched loads, and spaceborne filters is diversifying, offering customers more options.
WisAero's View: The core challenge of EMS communication lies in "signal integrity at high frequencies." In the millimeter-wave band, every connection point, every waveguide section, and every filter's insertion loss and VSWR are amplified, directly affecting the system link budget. WisAero has established a complete RF testing platform at its Xi'an R&D center, covering the 18–75 GHz frequency range, capable of full-parameter verification of waveguide-to-coaxial adapters, matched loads, and filters. We believe that for RF microwave components to enter the high-end market, they must not only meet electrical specifications but also achieve space-grade or industrial-grade standards in environmental adaptability, long-term reliability, and consistency.
Currently, WisAero's EMS communication product line covers I-type and orthogonal waveguide-to-coaxial adapters, waveguide matched loads, and spaceborne/general-purpose filters, covering WR-42 to WR-15 waveguide interfaces and supporting 2.92mm, 1.85mm, and other precision coaxial connectors. These products are widely used in satellite communications, radar feed systems, test and measurement, and millimeter-wave systems.
Looking ahead, with the continued deployment of LEO satellite constellations and low-altitude security networks, demand for EMS communication components will continue to grow. WisAero will continue to invest in R&D, committed to providing highly reliable and high-performance RF microwave solutions to global customers, supporting the evolution of EMS communication systems toward higher frequencies and higher performance.
